CAN Bus Battery Charger (battery charger with CAN bus communication function) is an intelligent battery charger that communicates with other systems or devices through the CAN bus protocol (Controller Area Network). Working principle:

The basic working principle of CAN Bus Battery Charger combines traditional charging technology with digital communication technology:

Battery charging control: Use different charging curves (such as constant current-constant voltage-trickle current, etc.) to charge the battery according to the battery type (such as lead-acid, lithium-ion, etc.).

CAN communication module: The charger has a built-in CAN controller, which communicates with BMS (battery management system), main controller, vehicle network, etc. through the CAN bus.


Real-time monitoring and adjustment:

Receive battery voltage, current, temperature, SoC (state of charge) and other data sent by BMS;

Dynamically adjust charging parameters according to battery status to achieve intelligent charging;

Can send alarms, completion signals and other information back to the main controller.

Safety protection functions: such as overvoltage, overcurrent, overtemperature, short circuit protection, etc., and support remote shutdown of the charger through CAN.
